    AK 47. JG versus CYMA.

I've haven't used the AK yet, and would like to know what the differences are between the two.
Differences like robustness, cost of internals etc. Any input would be appreciated.

The cyma has a better build on the outside. Overall JG is better, but given the choice between the 2 ak47s for sale I would choose the cyma as it is almost new and the JG has seen a fair bit of use. If they were both new the Jg would be a little better as the gearbox is built a little nicer.

Depends on model. Underfolding stocks are better built on the CYMA. AK74u is better from CYMA, everything else is JG hands down.

Is there a way to remove the fixed stocks and attach an unfolding stock? Where would i find one and how much are they going for?

Not that I know of. I suppose you could get creative and do some doctoring of your own. Big problem would be losing the battery compartment forcing you to have an external battery pouch.

not true, AKs have space for a stick type battery along the top of the weapon. However it's difficult to mod into an Underfolding stock from a standard. I would either buy one that way or forget about it :P

The battery in the fixed stock is bigger regardless... That would be more of a downgrade if anything.

Except the underslung, side folding stocks are more adaptable and easy to use in the field... the full length AK is a large rifle

I have four AK's. One CYMA 028S which is underslung, two AK47 betas, another with an SVD stock. In my opinion all AKs are great as far as durability and range.

The underslung model cannot be changed into a standard stock without changing the body, but it is easy. I do not like the underslung as the stock is not very solid, but otherwise a great weapon. I have put about 50,000 rounds through all of them each and they perform very well. The hopup is great and thus the range on an AK is very good.

I do own other weapons as well so I do have a reference perspective. Echo 1 Socom 16, Ares Tavor, Sig 556, UTG M4. I tend to favor the AK beta most of the time due to short length and CQB adaptability.
