hello all im here in Korea in for awhile. I'm located in Yongsan. Back home i have 3 airsoft rifles and a glock. Me and my friends are big into it. i've been to some big national games. I'm from California in the USA. It would be awesome to get back into it while I'm here. I don't have a gun here with me i might look into getting one. i don't know how big it is here and how much people play and where. hope i could get some help on that. I love playing and meeting new people. I have a lot of experience with airsoft guns too. i have owned and work on many guns of any make. I actually work for a business where we did repairs in california. Hope you all can maybe help you out. any questions ask away.

well for the most part our games are played in Seongnam which is just south of yongsan. We play almost every Sunday at about 0900. Just out of curiosity are you military?

You being military makes it easier for me to explain the feild locations to you. both feilds are right down the road from K-16. I pass by there every morning we play so if you need a ride to the field I could pick you up there.

During the spring and fall we get large games going, every 3 pr 4 months we usually have an overnight op. We have enough loaner guns to start, but getting your own weapons is a good idea. You can actually get airsoft guns into Korea with the right permissions from a CPT.

Thanks for posting this thread. I'm new here too (Osan), and had the same questions. Do you guys know the best way to get here by subway/train? What station and where to go from there?

Thanks!

frontshooter- i might possibly have to take you up on your offer. i think i know where your talking about... not too sure but possibly lol. i take it you are military too. Also does anyone know of a good place to buy a gun around here? i hope to start back up the only thing is i might not be there every time because where i work i don't always have weekends off.

buying a gun here is stupid expensive because of the import laws. We had to get a CPT ship them in as company training aids.

If only i had a CPT to do that for me. where i work that would be hard to justify and do. i saw an airsoft shop kinda near me i'll go look into there maybe some more.

I've been to 3 walk in shops so far. Theres one in, i think its the ET land building in Yongsan, next to the train station, someone already posted directions to it in another post, just too lazy to find it right now, sorry, hahaha. that place is www.buythegun.co.kr. theres a place in Samseong-dong, next to the COEX center www.2roy.com he has a lot of cool stuff, just very pricey. www.pxgun.com in Yangjae, just 5 minutes from Yangjae station. Px gun is a fun place to hang out, probably the fewest guns available, slew of parts available also. "Righteous" was spot on with his description of the place being more of a clubhouse, if you go on a friday or saturday evening theres usually a bunch of people there, really nice guys run the place. buythegun has a bunch of marui in stock, 2roy has a ton of softgoods/tactical gear, various gun kits, pxgun has mostly gun kits, and some parts. if you can find it online, it'll be cheaper probably, though it always seems like most of the good stuff isn't in stock. personally i like to check things out in person, so I made an effort to check out as many shops as I could, I think theres one more that I heard about with some vague detail that I haven't been to yet.

The two cheapest online stores I know of in Korea. All in Korean, and you need a korean ID to log in, but if you find something you like I can place the order...
