8.4 mini battery

hi guys this is mee :D i baught the g36 608-8 and having trouble how long to charge the battery. I have not baught the smart charger yet which im thinking about buying soon but with the charger it gave me how long will it have to be charged? Whats the maxium ammount it can be charged is the actual quesion. Please answer! Im going airsofting all day and this is my only battery

4-5 hours. Charge it until its warm. You should get about a 90% charge that way. If you don't blast on auto all the time the battery should last the day, but I would recommend getting a second battery asap. Those batteries they package with the gun aren't great.

All my friends say to charge the battery for 2 and a half hours i need to know the right answer im thinking about buying a 9.4 mini or a lipo but i need to know how long EXACTLY to charge an 8.4 mini with a standard ccharger

it is an 8.4v 1100mah battery. you have a 300mah charger. Do the math. It isn't 100% efficient so you need to add some more time on. I've charged EXACTLY that battery for 4 hours or more for more than 3 years and it always works.

Your battery is an 1100mah battery
Your charger puts out 250 ma per hour...

Thus we divide the battery capacity by the charging rate.

1100/250=4.4

Since both our units are milli amp hours, then answer has units in hours...
thus we get 4.4 hours. Add a little on for the fact that energy transfer is not 100% efficient...

4-5 hours. My original answer.

The better way is just to get a smart charger and charge at 5amps and simply let it decide when to stop... saves soooo much time.
