about password to access private forum

there are several forums that require password to access. how do I get that password???:confused:

just playing with locked forums and settings, I'll send everyone the PW or unlock them soon. There's nothing in it. The meeting post that's locked says: "test test test" The Recon forum is empty.

I have changed it now. All users from the old site are now 'FULL MEMBERS' and can access P/W areas now except for the Recon Squad. When the Recon Squad is formed I created a special user class that can access that area. Rob is the only one who can get into the Recon area until after the meeting.

I will give 'FULL MEMBER' status to those who posted on the old site and anyone who has actually played a game. The requirements for any new person to gain access to private areas can be decided on at the meeting.

My thoughts: I think only people who have actually played a game in Korea should be given full access to upcoming games and after action reports. Special exception can be given to those who contribute to the site regularly and a senior member approves.

@Rob I'm hoping there's a way to set it so you can add anyone there without having to pm. Same with any squad leader. I haven't had time to go through all the options yet. I'll try to figure that out today.

I'm still trying to find how to make it a request and set who gets to approve them. If I can do that we're golden.
