I used the civ version for a long time and I loved it. The only difference is the integrated scope or a rail mount. I think the civ version is better because you can change your optics and you can have the option of a red dot. The only down side is finding parts for it and the older model I had didn't have a mosfet. The 2 stage trigger fails after a while on semi if you don't have a mosfet in it.

I have a review of it in the review section if you check there and I would highly recommend it.

I'm talking about the jg a1 with the 3x scope it was said 1.5 but wrong. The scope is very good that is one of the main reasons on why I will get that gun

A scope and the ranges you get with airsoft don't really match. You want to hit your target and for that a good red dot will always get a hit somewhere on your target. At ranges greater than 50m the limitations of the actual bb make precision shooting... interesting.

Haven't seen an AUG for sale for a while. I think there may be some of the more expensive ones available if you look around.

Nothing wrong with any of the JG g36 series. I have the c and the k version. They have identical gearbox/hopup/battery systems. I think the g36 is one of the most versitile aegs out there.

Awesome thanks guys also my friend has a g36 608-3 with a rail an his red dot sift was a food one he says he doesn't really use it in schrim he says he looks down the side should I get a dot sight or use iron sights is it effective? I'm obviously a beginner at this stuff:0?

Red dot=fast targetting=winning more games...

They are cheap and very effective. Much better than iron sites. The main difference is that you are likely to hit with your first volley. The bbs are slow enough that if you miss with the first the enemy will be in cover by the time you shoot again.
