Just got this charger a few days ago and I would highly recommend it. It will discharge and charge large type batteries in about an hour instead of the usual 10 hours. It also automatically detects when the battery is full taking the guesswork out.
I've always used those cheap wall chargers and used the 1.4XMah equation to figure out the charge but that doesn't work if the battery is only partially discharged. So I gave up and just gave it an overnight charge regardless of it's state. This greatly reduces the life and capacity of the batteries so I decided to get this thing.
I may seem expensive at 50 dollars (and it doesn't do lipo) but it makes up for it by having MOSFET control and pulse charging. This prevents the battery from getting damaged, charges it better, and has accurate full charge detection. It will allow you to play longer, keep your batteries for longer, and take the guesswork out of charging.
Downside: The fan is freaking loud!
