This neat little kit is being marketed by CAA (Command Arms Accessories) (http://www.commandarms.com/), and is made to convert handguns (or machine-pistols) into small-sized carbines for special duties.
In am about to get one, as part of my work as a gunwriter, to test it with several handguns (REAL ones, I mean). It works with Glock (full-size and compact), Beretta (M92, "Cougar" and PX4 series), SIG-Sauer (P22x and "Pro" series) and HS-2000/Springfield XD pistols, as well as with the Caracal pistols. Its purchase requires no license or registration, as this thing isn't a firearm per se, and its use with a handgun is not subject to any restriction (at least in my country) as it doesn't modifies the operation of the weapon so it doesn't counts as an illegal modification for a firearm.

It works with airsofts as well.
I have got my hands on this cr**py electric Glock 18, it shoots well after all, and has the long magazine, but isn't that much of a good replica as far as my tastes go. I also have a gas-operated Glock 18, which is much better. I am thinking of putting either one of the two into this neaty little toy and try it in one of my next skirmishes with my friends as a Close Quarters battle/Personal Defence weapon.
Opinions, anyone?

Against any modified AEG you will be limited in both ammunition and range. In CQB it should be alright. The Cyma Glock Aep is actually quite a good little pistol. Combined with the 'hicap' 100 round mag it should be fun. Personally I'd rather a p90 with a box mag for CQB... :)

I am not "modifiying" anything, K, that specific term applies only in altering specifically and directly the structure and the mechanics of the replica... and if it enhances the performance, it's against the law in Italy. I just want to put it in a stock.

That is EXACTLY what I am going to do, and EXACTLY with that specific replica (CYMA electric Glock; as I told you in my PMs, I mostly purchase airsofts for collection, and when I do, them have to respect some features, including original licensed markings; the CYMA Glock doesn't, but it's pretty sturdy and efficient for the price, so, as long as I keep it in the conversion system, it works good for me). Most, if not all, of the Skirmishes I play with my friend happen at VERY short range, 'cause we play in summer and BY NIGHTS, in my private countryside; I have a small house (who am I kidding? It's what you in NZ might call a "Crib" or a "Bach"!) with almost 1 ha (hectare) of terrain around: vineyard, orchard, and simple wood. There are lights only along the road and around the house; so, each team has to have somebody (either me or my brother) who knows the place, to avoid accidents; but generally, it ends up with one team barricaded into the house and the other one trying to force-enter. Once my brother and one of my friends both carried their girlfriends along to play the hostages in the house. That was s**t, 'cause we couldn't use the normal expedients we employ as flashbangs (firecrackers inside empty Coke cans), and because they always ended up in the cross-fire.
However, IMHO, in a room-by-room situation the CYMA auto Glock in that conversion will do just fine. More compact than an MP5 with the same firepower. It will probably replace the weapon I normally use in those situations (electric/battery-operated SOCIMI Type 821-SMG replica by Gunze Sangyo)

Yeah, but the P-90 is so... ORDINARY...

A couple more pics of the CAA...
