I got my hands on a no name EBB M9 just to see how sad an airsoft gun can be. It looks like its cheap with no metal at all in the construction. It runs on 4 AAA batteries and has what is best described as a banana mag with around 18 rounds that has no catch to secure it. This means it needs to be taped to ensure the gun fires on auto.
The gun sends .12 bbs flying upwards with its non adjustable hopup. It sends .2 bbs about 15m before they fall to earth at underwelming velocity. The accuracy? With .2s its... ok if you want to wait that long for them to hit the target. With .12s it shoots anywhere but where you aim.
Pull the trigger and you get to wait while the gun tells the enemy its shooting. The conclusion? Great to give to my kid to go bang bang, don't see many other uses for it.
