I may be tempting fate here but...

My G36 has all upgraded internals and is shooting 1100rpm with the standard JG motor. I have a Marui EG1000 in my box of spares. Before I go and break a perfectly working gun (as is bound to happen when you get greedy) I have a question.

Is the EG1000 really all that much better than the Jg motor? I don't want to spend 2 hours or so tinkering just to find that its no better.

I replaced both of my VFC 1300 motors with TM EG1000s. The RoF is about the same but they are much more power efficient and do not heat up nearly as much. I don't think you will see a huge boost in performance, but the battery may last longer during a game.

That was my feeling. I compared both the TM P90 with my G36 and found with the same Intellect 9.6v 1400mah battery they both get 17rps. The P90 seems to be less stressed (just a subjective feeling here).

I also notice that the G36 does heat up a bit after prolonged auto bursts. You may be right and the only real difference is how long the battery will last.
