Well, I've used my P90 in 2 games now and here's my review of it:
First off, it's very short, almost too short to use. I got a butt extension and that took care of a lot of that. It still feels kinda 'bunched up' though. When you hold it out one hand it doesn't extend much farther than a pistol.
That's it's real golden side though. In your hand it's footprint is so small that it can be swung around pretty much the same as a pistol. Yet due to airsoft guns all being around the same thing it has all the advantages of a full sized gun. The box mag I have on it holds 1500 rounds and since it's mostly on the gun profile, adds very little to it's size.
The 1500 round drum also lets you use a 9.6 large battery, driving the ROF from 800 to 1200rpm. It has the odd feature of an M4 clip hanging off the side that it uses for feeding. Basically the top of the drum is a hopper that dumps bbs into the M4 clip (you have to take the slide off the clip) and then the winder on the M4 clip feeds the bbs through a tube in the drum mag back into the P90. Odd but it works.
With this little sucker you basically have the performance of an assault rifle, the size of a pistol, and the ammo of a support weapon.
It's big drawback is that it doesn't 'feel' much like a gun to me. It's also the only back heavy gun I've ever seen so it likes to tilt up if held in one hand.
Between this and my AUG I like the look and feel of the AUG better but you really can't beat all the features in such a tiny little package.
Would I recommend it? Hard to say, I wouldn't reccomend getting it without the drum though
btw:
The big reason I use this and the AUG is that bullpup guns stay more level. I usually have a camera on my gun and when it was on my old G36c I had a hard time not filming the ground.
