My existing red dot has been giving me a few problems. The first, it has a tiny little red/green dot and finding the dot when it counts can be annoying. Second, it would not adjust enough to allow true vertical accuracy so I had to adjust my aim every time.

Thus I decided to give the open red dot scope that Chris had a try. At first centering it was annoying. After a little effort though it became easier than the comp m2 model. It has 2 hex adjusters and thats it. One hex key, a box for a target and a bunch of stickers... and it was done.

Yet to be tested in a 'live' situation but it obliterates 50 won sized apple stickers from 10 meters with no stray shots every time. I also find that the open sight window is much easier to use than a tube. Heres hoping it works as well next game day.

It served me well, I much prefer that over the aimpoint style scopes. I just can't stand cracks, something that comes from a lifetime of wearing glasses I guess. Actually that one has a much better target sight than my new one and is much brighter, but new one doesn't have cracks.
