I have BF2, but after that I got into COD4. I have TF2, COD4&5, Left4Dead, but for multiplayer COD4 and BF2 are the shit for me.

EA's downloaded system and in game targeted ads are what discouraged me from 2142, I have every other game in the series and I still think BF2 is the best squad/teamwork oriented game ever made.

I have BF2142 and enjoyed it.

Personally I loved BF2 and competed in the World Tourney years back.

However BF2's hit and damage system when it comes to infantry combat was a tad rediculous. Sometimes taking 15 rounds of 5.56 to center mass to kill someone. At my peak I could kill with 3 round on semi from a M16, but it was still iffy. This discouraged me from playing as infantry and I became a chopper pilot instead.

BF2142 has more lethal weapons, which in my opinion is a bit more realistic and satisfying play. It also has all the teamwork and play as BF2, plus the engine is much more efficient and streamlined allowing for quicker load times. Plus the user interface for BF2142 was far superior and reduced overall stress related to finding and joining games.

My name on both BF2 and BF2142 is "Nevar". Feel free to add me on BF2142 if you want a team member that doesn't ditch you at every turn.

Can't wait for Bad Company 2.

That's why I like COD4, on the 'hardcore' mode you don't have cross hairs, you have to bring up your sights to aim. It also has realistic damage, if your hit in the melon, you go down, it doesn't matter how far away. I find it way more intense with 1~2 hit kills than emptying a whole clip into someone and have them still running around at full tilt looking for a medipack.
