Seen this on a blog before. If the dude sold them I'd buy one... looks very cool.

If he placed a grenade launcher instead of a tactical light, that would've made it more like the M41-A Pulse rifle:)

That light looks awfully weak.

Don't really see the point of light on a gun. During the day it is useless. At night all it serves to do is give away your position. An array of infrared LEDs and a good night vision camera would be far superior.

Unless your opponent has NVGs.

Who has Night vision goggles in airsoft? Those things are expensive...

I have a rail mount Gen I scope from Russia I bought six years ago for about $400. It's in the US, though. Even Gen I is a huge advantage aginst people without NODs at all.

I have an infrared spot for the front of my sniper and a camera that fits behind the scope to see it. Gives me 30~40M night vision range. Not too useful considering we have never played a night game. Made if for the Dark Night op we were planning.

That IR spot is visible to NVGs. It would give away your position long before you got anything useful.

Anyone with a cell phone can just go to camera mode and see it bright as day. There is a toggle switch on the spot in case it's picked up and to keep it off until needed. I didn't really count on anyone having NVGs, but I did count on bright souls looking for the IR light with digital cameras or cell phones
