Saw this on Tactical Fanboy's site. Apparently this "clock" has a 10-second countdown timer that you can diffuse by cutting 1 of the 3 wires going into it (deactivation wire is selected at random). It is sold as a kit (without fake dynamite/semtex prop) and if we could find a way to increase the countdown to say...5 minutes, it would be perfect for use in "Bomb Diffusal" missions a la Counter Strike.

That.Would.Be.AWESOME.

I bought/made one that you can program the time in and can trigger a relay or a alarm. The relay can be rigged via alligator clips to set up pyro (it's a passthtough so you can just set a power supply to the pyro and when it reaches 0 it will complete the circuit. It cost me around 50 bucks in parts. You can program the time in and the action you want it to complete when done. It has an emergency override shut off, toggle key control (so you can make a game where you need a key to disable), cuttable wires, and internal 110DB siren. http://www.airsoftkorea.org/showthread.php?465-Counter-Strike-Bomb-Parts&highlight=bomb It's also strong enough to survive a 5 story drop. If you want I can put together a tutorial sometime.

Man, your bomb looks friggin' wicked! How bout I just buy one from you (the timer and clock part) and I'll assemble a prop here? I think a tutorial would be over my head, considering that that's some hardcore MacGuyver stuff you're doing (and I don't solder).

I am a soldering machine. And I have the stuff here to do the job. Get the kit Mike and I'll help you assemble it.
