need help with headset

I bought this headset (motorola 1 pin compatible) but its not working with my PTT. the seller said me that I have to do some modification thing (something like cracking or whatever). Does anyone can help me with this???

P.S. @ Emil and Jed... U guys did the same thing like this or it worked fine??? the guy sold me this said U guys know how to do this.

@matt, Jed and I bought our headsets at Yongsan and it worked fine. Ours is a different brand from yours. The brand we got was DEVGRU and its made in Korea, it worked as advertised out of the box with no modifications whatsoever.

Technomad, where in Yongsan did you get your headsets? Do they sell compatible radios as well?

@Righteous, I bought it at a store outside the ET land bldg, it was behind those shops that sell the P.A. eqmt. I say 'was' because the store is now closed, I'm not sure if he moved.

My radio is a Motorola FRS (Korean vers), my Motorola talkabout from the U.S. seems to be on a different frequency.

@George, I'm still looking and asking around as well, if you're not in hurry I should have an answer for you next week. I just need to finish packing my stuff and shipping it out this week. Its been crazy !
